Ultra Europe is a multi-venue outdoor electronic music festival that is a part of Ultra Music Festival's worldwide expansion, which has now spread to twenty countries.
Simply, metaphorically Resistance and parties on the island would be comparable to Clive Davies (famous music mogul/manager among Whtine Houston etc) Grammy party after the Grammy award ceremony.
Split is the main scene – definitely.
But what makes this ULTRA, attractive , INSTAGRAM-ABLE, is the breathtaking and unique party locations on these islands -Don't forget Hvar is listed among 10 most beautiful islands in the world.
March to November
The climate of Split is Mediterranean, with mild, rainy winters and hot, sunny summers. Hvar – 2760 hours of sunshine per year. Hvar is the sunniest island in Mediterranean – means the minimum risk of bad weather on entire Mediterranean .. Visitor will be welcomed and treated with a lots of sun and great weather especially in July.
Once the gateway to the islands', Split is fast becoming one of Europe's hottest destinations and it is easy to see why. With the imperious UNESCO World Heritage Site of Diocletian's palace at its heart, after exploring its heritage the possibilities are endless – island hopping, escaping to the lungs of Split on Marjan hill or discovering the traditions of inland Dalmatia. Croatia's premier island and also Europe's sunniest, Hvar has it all. Home to the most UNESCO heritage of any island in the world, A-list celebrity destination with the idyllic Pakleni islands in front of the town, Hvar is a preferred destination. Fine indigenous wines and an outstanding gourmet offer, this is the lavender island, whose Mediterranean diet has been recognized by UNESCO.
Split – second largest city in Croatia, situated on Dalmatian coast is cultural and economic center of Dalmatia. The city center is the ancient Diocletian's Palace from the 4th century, which is a unique example in the world. Split offers variety of activities, adventurous, historical, gastro experiences, shopping tours. Basic activities like : historical tour with visit to museums and famous Diocletian's basements. Gastro experiences in fine dining restaurants with option to do gastro tour around old city center, and try best olive oils and wines typical for Croatia. Split has a lot to offer regarding night clubs and bars, and night life in general. Adventurous activities are : sea activities (sup, kayaking, snorkeling,..) and River activities like rafting, river tubing,....there are also options to rent- a-bike, do zipline or hiking tours.
Split and all islands are within 1h speedboat or motor yachts. To get on these islands with the car – possible through car ferry – but doesn't make any sense, time consumption wise, especially when we have entire ground service infrastructure already set over there.
